    The spacious Japanese-Style Room with Private Bathroom was elegantly decorated, offering a real sense of traditional charm. The friendly staff not only provided great English assistance but also catered to our dietary needs, making our stay feel personalized. The Japanese breakfast was exquisite, far surpassing any usual offerings, highlighting the commitment to quality. the location, while within walking distance, doesn't sit in the heart of the historical district, which may deter some who prefer immediate access to main attractions.

    This place is simply lovely! The warm welcome by the owner made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious with traditional tatami beds and provided all the comforts we needed. The on-site onsen was clean and relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfasts were especially delightful with both Japanese and Western options.

    traditional dinner
    public onsen
    uncomfortable mattress

    The traditional Japanese dinner impressed me with its quality and presentation, and I enjoyed the unique experience of wearing a kimono around the place. The public onsen offered a refreshing way to relax after a long day.

    The western breakfast left much to be desired. it was downright inedible. the mattress was thin and uncomfortable, making it hard for a good night's sleep on the floor, especially for longer stays.

    excellent traditional experience but room for improvement in breakfast

    The ryokan offered an immersive traditional Japanese experience, beautifully decorated rooms with local craftsmanship, and friendly, English-speaking staff. Enjoying an exquisite Japanese-style dinner highlighted the trip's culinary journey, making it feel tailored just for us. The public onsen was a relaxing getaway, providing serenity in a cozy atmosphere, a detail I truly appreciated during my time there.

    The breakfast could benefit from more variety to meet diverse tastes.

    excellent service
    unenjoyable breakfast

    great location , but breakfast needs improvement

    The hotel impressed me with its traditional elegance and attention to detail. The staff provided excellent service, fluently communicating in English and making phenomenal restaurant recommendations. I truly enjoyed wearing a kimono during my stay, which added to the authentic experience.

    The breakfast options were lacking, failing to meet my expectations.
